More specifically, my Louisiana-ness. We have a whole different language down there. Creole slips in once in a while and I get an envie (craving) for something or someone gives me an extra something and I comment on the lagniappe. Even though I currently live in Tennessee where southern slang and the drawl of the hills reigns supreme, my Louiisiana-ness sticks out like a Yankees ball cap. Especially when I get upset about something. Whooo wee.
